Marcus Gore is not a career finance executive. He is a trader first — someone who spent years in the market developing an instinct for how capital actually moves, long before he wrote a line of code or incorporated a company.

Raised in Chicago and now based in Atlanta, Marcus came up studying mechanical engineering — a discipline that trains you to see systems, forces, and structural failure modes before they happen. That lens never left. It just found a different application: the options market.

The COVID era was the catalyst. The volatility, the unprecedented retail participation, the clear gap between how institutions saw the market and how everyone else was forced to see it through aging, flat terminals. Marcus watched the same data tell completely different stories depending on who was reading it and what tools they had.

He is what neurologists call a spatial-visual thinker — someone who processes information most naturally as geometry, structure, and dimension rather than rows and columns. When he looked at a Level 2 order book, he did not see numbers. He saw pressure, weight, and shape. He saw what the terminal was failing to show everyone else.

Stoxess is the product of that frustration turned into architecture. Not a feature added to an existing platform. Not another dashboard with more charts. A completely new category — spatial execution — built for the way high-performance human cognition actually works.

Marcus has always believed that the tools available to institutional traders should not be gatekept by the terminals that built their moats in the 1980s. Stoxess is his first step toward changing that. It will not be his last.
